It is unavoidable !<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008080;\"><strong><!--more--><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"article__summary summary \">\n<p>Cutting Earth&#8217;s population in half is the best path to a sustainable future, new study claims<\/p>\n<p>A new peer-reviewed study argues that one of the most effective long-term paths toward environmental sustainability would be a gradual reduction in Earth\u2019s population from about 8.3 billion today to around 4 billion by the year 2200.<\/p>\n<p>The study, published in the journal Sustainable Development, does not propose coercive population control.
