The planet has no need to be «saved». Humanity does. If there is no more human on Earth it will change absolutely nothing for the Earth, neither for the moon, nor for the stars….
An electric car battery weighs about 450 kg
To make one, we must dig, move and process 225 tons of raw materials including cobalt and lithium.
Driving an electric car will not save the planet or humanity.
