Besides of that, the Chinese language should replace French in all schools besides the traditional African languages. Ex-victims of western colonialism and imperialism have a lot in common. Never forget that China was invaded and occupied by western powers, including France, which burnt down the Summer Palace because the beauty both of the building and the art inside was dwarfing Versailles in what Victor Hugo called the biggest cultural crime of France.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>BRICS countries are major investors in Africa, according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who said Moscow expects the bloc\u2019s New Development Bank (NDB) to operate on the continent.<\/p>\n<p>Talking to the pan-African monthly Hommes d&#8217;Afrique magazine, Lavrov said that\u00a0\u201ccurrently the bank is in its infancy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe expect it to operate not only in the Republic of South Africa (RSA), but in other countries of the continent in the future, particularly through the Africa Regional Center (ARC), which was set up last August in Johannesburg,\u201d\u00a0he said.<\/p>\n<p>The minister also expressed satisfaction about the African countries being\u00a0\u201cincreasingly interested in deepening practical cooperation with the five (BRICS) states.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) created the New Development Bank in July 2014. It funds infrastructure projects within the bloc. The bank\u2019s capital is up to $100 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The first project was a $811 million loan for a rooftop solar power project in China.
