The height of dictatorial behavior: \u201cI\u2019m protecting your safety by taking away your freedom.\u201d Testing people returning from abroad is an acceptable measure but, if the test is negative, nothing can justify a week-long detention (We\u2019d also need to know where such detention would take place: a prison? A concentration camp?) So if you test negative upon returning from abroad, you go home without any problem. The final justification \u2014 claiming he wants to protect operators of French ski resorts \u2014 is the height of stupidity. Will depriving the French of the freedom to go skiing abroad really protect French resorts from bankruptcy? We might as well try to stop the French from eating at foreign restaurants\u2026 by claiming that this will protect French restaurants forced to remain closed\u2026 Complete nonsense.**<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n
