A few days ago, the photograph of the American model Kendall Jenner in a swimsuit went viral on the internet, showing what for many is the perfect body in a woman. On the right, a photograph of Alyssa Carson, the 19-year-old astronaut who became the youngest person in history to pass all NASA aerospace tests and who is now preparing to be the first human to travel to Mars.
It is not difficult to deduce which of the two is more popular and admired worldwide, however, this situation shows us the inordinate value that society places on exaggerated stereotypes of beauty. While many women struggle every day to belong to positions and trades historically dominated by men, society continues to reward the superficial; the aesthetic; what sells. Women are not destined to be aesthetically perfect.
Let’s stop creating plastic idols, who sell their products at the expense of other people’s complexes. Life is too short to go around begging for acceptance from people deceived by the multi-million dollar cosmetics industry and Social Media.

RAEL’S COMMENT:
It’s your freedom to choose to be like the one on the left and nobody has the right to judge you. One is no better then the other. Just different choices. What matters is your happiness, whatever you choose, choose freely without conforming to any politically correct model.
