When everyone stands in solidarity for freedom, the forces of the health dictatorship become powerless because they are a tiny minority.
Brussels’ green spaces, in particular the Parc du Cinquantenaire and the Bois de la Cambre, saw a significant number of visitors on Sunday due to the good weather.
The Brussels police, who patrolled the parks, found that many people were sitting in groups without a mouth mask, but no fines were issued.
“Observation: many people without a mask. The police are watching but cannot be everywhere despite the deployment of additional patrols,” said Ilse Van de Keere, spokesperson for the Brussels-Capital / Ixelles police. “Common sense and dialogue are our guidelines. It was impossible to verbalize all those who did not respect the measures.”
