Not true! It’s only true for people who live in the past (the vast majority of human beings) and does not enjoy the NOW. Travels create memories and memories are 100% past. This article also said that after a while we get used to things and they don’t make us happy anymore. But if you use your supra-consciousness the NOW is always new… and it doesn’t require anything or travel. It doesn’t require anything coming from outside. In meditation, you can close your eyes and feel happiness, the real one, the one from inside. Everything else is a distraction, illusion, and tourism. Tourism is the absolute opposite of supra consciousness.
Why do many people go shopping the minute they have money in their wallets? Material wealth brings you happiness, albeit temporarily. Only a few days after a new purchase, the thrill, pleasure, and enjoyment you felt begin to fade.
