The hit was not strong enough!!!. It is the absolute right for everybody, especially women, to defend themselves if abused. All women should learn some form of martial art. Non-violence does not mean accepting to be physically abused. Like the Dalai Lama answered to a journalist asking him, as he is non-violent, what would he do if attacked by a man armed with a knife, he answered, “I would hit him in the face as strongly as possible in order to knock him down, then I will bend over him and caress his head with compassion.”
